Azzurro is a family run Bar & Restaurant in Dunmore East, Co. Waterford. First opened in 2007 in the old Ship premises it offers an exciting blend of Mediterranean cuisine using only the finest local produce.
The proprietor, Adriano Cavaliere, has an extensive background in hospitality & catering with his family also running La Palma on the Mall & Espresso in Waterford City while his uncle owns Rinuccini in Kilkenny City.
Mr. Jean-Baptiste Dubois, who is one of only 3 Eurotoques chefs in county Waterford, is our head chef.
Jean-Baptiste Dubois from France has been working in Ireland for more than ten years. Jean-Baptiste is passionate about using the best quality ingredients available and supporting independent local suppliers. With a background in fine dining in 5 star hotels, including Dromoland Castle and Hayfield Manor, Jean-Baptiste brings his creativity and flair to honest Bistro food in Azzurro. Cooking from fresh where possible and using seasonal produce to inspire his menus. Using clean, simple ideas that allow the ingredients to express themselves is his passion.
